Taste of Science events are:
The events in short:
A team of scientists will present their research to a non-specialist audience - often media professionals, sometimes the public or specific target audiences.
The audience will gather at a restaurant, pub, or alike.
Scientists will link their presentations to a specifically designed menu. This "forces" scientists to shift from their ordinary presentation format and develop a fresh, extra-ordinary, and creative presentation.
They will follow Taste of Science's team suggestions to produce a succint, informative, and effective presentation - having as primary goal to stimulate curiosity and will to follow up with talking to the scientists.
Taste of Science events work finely as satellite events during conferences, as a social event, or during workshops. Or during open days, celebrations.
Though they require little effort, such outreach avtivities demand for motivation and efforts to understand your audience's needs - which may often deviate for your own needs.
We are here to support you in the process of designing, developing and delivering your event. Do not hesitate to contact us for support.
Scientists are not shy persons, and the public is voracious of novel science, so contact us to develop your Taste of Science event!
